Lily Allen really left an impression with his first American show just last night at the Hiro Ballroom in New York City. She came out on stage backed up by a 3 piece horn section, a bassist and keyboard, Lily did a 8 song set in less then 30 minutes.
She started out timid and shy but around the 4th song she relaxed and became much more comfortable in the small room surrounded by fans.
Lily Allen’s fans were treated to a preview of her upcoming release “Alright, Still” and a slightly humerous “Nan, You’re a Window Shopper” which took pot shots at one of 50 cents more popular songs called “Window Shopper” that was released last year.
Allen still has the rest of her North American tour to finish this week with stops in San Francisco, Chicago and L.A, once she finishes she goes back to the UK for a set of shows next month.
